Kansas Vietnam Veteran's Memorial
The Kansas House of Representatives and Kansas Senate designated the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Junction City as the official State Vietnam Veterans Monument by resolution in May of 1991.

The 13 x 46 foot black granite memorial was erected and dedicated on July 4, 1987 in memory of all Kansans who died or listed as missing in action while serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.  The Memorial's middle section shows the purple heart ribbon and the Vietnam service ribbon, flanked by engraved pictures of American Soldiers from the Vietnam era.

Make sure to bring your camera, as the memorial is stunning and well-kept.

The memorial is located in Heritage Park, at the intersection of 6th and Washington St.
