Parks

Junction City is a community full of public spaces. Playgrounds, picnic areas, walking and biking trails, river access, ball fields, historic monuments and memorials.

Many local parks offer opportunities to take a walk, play some tennis, have a family picnic, enjoy a softball or baseball game, swim at a pool, take the kids to the playground or sit quietly and enjoy the natural environment.

Many of our parks have facilities that can be reserved for special events. Contact the Parks Department through the Municipal Customer Service Desk at 785-238-3103 to make a reservation.
